Who runs PDX Playwrights? Our group has a small volunteer “admin team” that works behind the scenes to make sure everything runs smoothly. A couple of us have been volunteering to run this association of playwrights for more than nine years. Some are a bit more behind the scenes than others. We share tasks between us fluidly, communicating mostly by email. Periodically we hold an organizational meeting to do our work without disrupting the regular reading schedule.
Here’s who’s currently on the team (listed alphabetically). In addition to being playwrights, most have served as producers, actors, fact-finders, facilitators, and organizers.

Our founders were Sven Bonnichsen and David Holloway. Admin Team Emeritus members (longtime and incredibly generous folks who, along with the existing team, helped to build PDXP and still help it) include Kate Belden, Gary Corbin, J Aron Braide, Lisa Collins, Ajai Tripathi, Dave Chapman, Miriam Feder, Monica Dailey, and Lauren Emery.
